"Mother Earth Twirls her Skirt" CONSERVATION AT HOME® Our Mission In our sustainable living design "Mother Earth Twirls her Skirt" individuals will see the natural connection between an eco-conscious home and an eco-friendly alternative to the traditional yard. Making a few simple changes, like water conservation/harvesting, native plantings, composting, organic gardening, bee and chicken keeping, alternative energy sources can create beauty, wildlife habitat, time, increased health and cost savings. Whether you have five acres or a patch of yard, you can naturalize some or all of your land, and address some of the common challenges homeowners face today. Issues such as soil erosion, chronic wet areas, chemical absorption, heavy water consumption, excess waste, and the absence of wildlife diversity can all be improved very simply. We will show you how easy making the change to a more eco-friendly yard can be, give you the tools to do it, and the resources to support your success. Large or small, Conservation at Home®, is a great step towards the true “greening” of your yard which also impacts your living space. Show Hours Monday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Discounted Parking at Navy Pier Garage: $14.00 |
